Tha Pom (Khlong Song Nam) Khao Khanap Nam Miracle Beach
Ko Phi Phi Le Susan Hoi

Miracle Beach

This miracle beach is a beach that appears temporarily about five days around the full moon day period, from December to May. When the sea water between Thap Island and Kai Island drops to the lowest level, this miracle white beach will appear linking the two islands together and visitors can rest, sunbath or do other activities on it as well as enjoy the breathtaking view of the islands around there.

Khao Khanap Nam

Serving as a landmark of Krabi province, it comprises two hills of 100 metre high one on each side of the Krabi River. It is accessible in 15 minutes by a long-tail boat from Chao Fa pier in the town. There are stairs leading up to the caves which contain stalactites and stalagmites.

Tha Pom (Khlong Song Nam)

Tha Pom is about 34 km. from the provincial town of Krabi. The canal of Tha Pom is well known for its crystal clear water. It is called by local people khlong song nam in Thai or literally "two water canal". This is because of its special feature location where seawater meets freshwater during the high-tide periods, resulting in a mixture of seawater and freshwater in the canal. Situated amidst mangrove forest and swamp forest, Tha Pom is home to an astonishing variety of creatures from the two kinds of forest areas. They adjust themselves to live together harmoniously in such specific conditions.

Susan Hoi (Shell Fossil Cemetery)

Located at Ban Laem Pho cape some 17 km. from town, it is a huge rock slab evolved from uncountable shell fossils of some 35 million years. This shell graveyard was once a large freshwater swamp populated by millions of snails. Over aeons, the dead snails gradually formed a layer of fossils, which is about 40 cm. thick. This wonderful site of nature has become one of the most popular attractions of Krabi and one of the three in the world.

Ko Phi Phi Le

An island of steep cliffs, covers a total area of 6.6 square kilometers. Phi Phi Le has several beautiful bays such as Pi Le which reaches into a valley and gives a lake-like scenery. This part of the sea is almost encircled by steep cliffs. To the south of Pi Le is a small bay called Lo Sa Ma which hides in a fold of a steep rock and provides a good spot for snorkeling. Another attraction is Tham Viking, a huge vast and airy cave which is home to a large number of swallows. On the cave wall are ancient paintings of sailing ships similar to those used by ancient Vikings. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Phi Phi Le by boat from Phi Phi Don.
